Overview
Founded in 1972, Rutherford Hill was one of those original few. Who, in pioneering Bordeaux varietals defined the standard that Napa Valley has become renowned for across the world. Our AJT Collection reflects our most treasured estate vineyards celebrating the legacy of Anthony J. Terlato, our beloved patriarch and founder. We see very vintage as an opportunity to express the incredible depth of character our estate fruit offers, with balance, elegance and poise. Employing state of the art techniques, using carefully selected parcels of fruit and only the finest French oak barrel regimen, nothing is left to chance in our pursuit of perfection.

Aging
6 Months in 30% New French Oak Puncheons, 40% in Neutral French oak and 30% in stainless steel

Fermentation
Four press loads of which three were cold whole cluster pressed and one press being destemmed. Once blended we fermented and matured our Sauvignon Blanc in a combination of new French oak, neutral oak barrels, and stainless steel.
